Dr. Alex Planes earned his doctorate from Universidad Iberomericana and completed his residency at Columbia University. He then went on to train at Augusta University to become certified in the State of Florida for conscious sedation.

Dr. Planes is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Dawson Academy, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has also achieved Mastership status from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Daymi Padron, DMD, brings over a decade of dental experience, academic excellence, and a passion for patient-centered care to Planes Dental Arts. Originally from Cuba, she earned her first degree in Stomatology and completed a two-year General Practice Residency a decade ago. After moving to the U.S., she pursued advanced training through an observational prosthodontics program at Ohio State University. She went on to earn her DMD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she served as a clinical teaching assistant, graduated with honors, and was nominated to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.
